Our company has been formed under the title of AY-SOLAR Enerji ve Malzemeleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. in 1997 for the purpose of trading in the area of renewable energy sources.
Due to the global negative developments and constantly growing environmental pollution, humanity needs to become more sensitive to our environment in order to create a better world for future generations. As a first step towards this goal, we decided to contribute our share to creating and consumption of clean energy by way of adapting as our mission to obtain energy, which is the first necessity in this technologically advanced era, from the SUN, WIND AND GEOTHERMAL RESOURCES as well as other clean energy sources and decided to carry out our operations in this sector. To that end, we established contacts with and began scientific research in cooperation with EBILTEM, The Science and Research Center attached to The Aegean University and The Muğla University and had consultant and scientific support under the auspices of University-Industry Cooperation Initiative that had been launched for the purpose of developing widespread usage and promotion of technology domestically. In a short time, we have formed an organization made up of experts in the area and launched various projects. By 1999, three of our separate projects obtained scientific support from the University and it was decided by Izmir KOSGEB Regional Directorate that our projects would receive State support. Our projects were approved in 2001 and thus begun our contributions to the economy. The subject matter projects were important both in regards to conditions in our country as well as Human Health and Safety. Since than our Research and Development efforts continued in parts and finally we were at the stage of mass production.
We are proud to have completed numerous projects and created systems on Electricity Generation through usage of Solar Energy and Energy generation from (Hybrid) Solar + Wind Power in Turkey. Currently, AY-SOLAR® provides all kinds of promotional, informative and training services to any organization and individuals in any sector in regards to energy production from alternative energy sources.
Our Company has been striving to keep its research and development department in a powerful and dynamic state and to date has provided the consumers with 40 different products as a result of its dedication to ongoing research, developing know-how and keeping up with advanced technology. Another one of our main activities is to carry out research on regional and climactic parameters and gather data on those organizations and individuals, who are already using or wanting to use solar technology in Turkey.
